Very Bass Overtone Flute Parts

The Very Bass Overtone Flute BY BRAS uses oversized flute heads designed to produce deep, powerful, and highly resonant overtone notes. They can be used for giant overtone flutes, folded bass instruments, percussive wind instruments, and a wide range of large-scale acoustic experiments.

16mm Parts

16mm pipes are the smallest pipes used in BY BRAS designs. They serve as instrument bodies for soprano flutes and membrane clarinets, as well as air conduits and mouthpieces for larger instruments.

20mm pipes are used for some of the easiest overtone flutes to start with in the BY BRAS collection, as well as alto flutes and high transverse flutes. Their balanced size makes them lightweight, affordable, and particularly well suited for beginners and children.

25mm Parts

25mm pipes are the most versatile pipes used in BY BRAS designs. From overtone flutes and fingered flutes to drone instruments, and experimental creations, they offer endless possibilities. Their wide musical range allows everything from bright and clear tones to deep and powerful sounds.

100mm Parts

100mm pipes are huge. From giant overtone flutes and double-bass organ sounds to oversized experimental instruments, they offer acoustic possibilities that simply do not exist at smaller scales. Big, powerful, sometimes impractical, they are made for ambitious musical experiments.

Sound Producing Heads

Sound-producing heads are the starting point of every DIY BY BRAS instrument. Each head comes with detailed blueprints and assembly instructions, making it possible to build complete instruments while exploring different sounds, techniques, and acoustic possibilities.
