Product description

The Wind Flute Head is a 3D-printed sound-producing head designed for the DIY BY BRAS Wind Flute concept.

Unlike traditional flutes, the Wind Flute is played through movement rather than direct blowing.
Gestures, swings, and circular motions create airflow through the head, producing clear tones based on the overtone series.

This makes the Wind Flute Head particularly suited for movement-based performance, rhythmic exploration, drones, and experimental sound practices, where sound emerges directly from physical motion.

The head is intentionally designed slightly oversized to accommodate natural diameter variations of PVC pipes, which can vary by ±0.2 mm depending on manufacturer and batch.
To ensure a perfect, custom airtight fit, a small roll of transparent tape is included, allowing you to easily create a tailored seal between the head and the pipe.
