The Sleeve 25mm is a 3D-printed connector part designed for the DIY BY BRAS modular system.
It is used to join two pipe sections together, allowing you to extend, modify, or reconfigure the length of your instrument while maintaining proper alignment and airtightness.
This part is essential for modular assemblies, transport-friendly instruments, and evolutive flute configurations.
The design focuses on mechanical reliability and airtight connection, ensuring stable performance across repeated assemblies and disassemblies.
The sleeve is intentionally designed slightly oversized to accommodate natural diameter variations of PVC pipes, which can vary by ±0.2 mm depending on manufacturer and batch.
To ensure a perfect, custom airtight fit, a small roll of transparent tape is included, allowing you to easily create a tailored seal on each pipe end.
