The Overtone Flute Head 25mm is a sound-producing head designed for the DIY BY BRAS system.

Included: Detailed blueprints and instructions to build the 25mm Chromatic Overtone Kit 13 in 1 with standard 25mm and 16mm PVC pipe.

Inspired by overtone flutes from many cultures around the world and shaped by over 20 years of experience building thousands of handcrafted PVC versions, this head has been specifically developed for 3D printing and modular construction.

It is the central sound-producing element of the Overtone Flute Kit BY BRAS. Designed to produce clear, precise, and versatile overtone notes with a responsive, percussive attack, it can be used to build a wide range of overtone flute configurations.

The digital version includes both versions of the Overtone Flute Head 25mm, with and without connector.

The Overtone Flute Head 25mm is ideal for standalone overtone flutes, offering more direct breath control and access to additional expressive playing techniques. 

The Overtone Flute Head with Connector 25mm allows the use of multiple mouthpieces, connectors, splitters, and modular airflow systems, opening the door to a wide range of experimental instrument configurations.

IMPORTANT:
The actual diameter of 25mm PVC pipes can vary slightly depending on manufacturer and production batch. To ensure compatibility with the widest range of pipes, DIY BY BRAS parts are designed slightly oversized. While our finished instruments are individually adjusted to match our current pipe stock, DIY parts must remain adaptable to many different pipe sources. For optimal performance, an airtight seal is required. Simply wrap transparent adhesive tape around the pipe to create a custom-fit seal before inserting it into the printed part.
