Modular Flute by Nicolas Bras is a simple and evolving instrument for curious musicians — beginners or advanced — inspired by traditional ancient instruments, handmade using 3D printed parts and light plastic pipes.

The Modular Flute exists in 5 versions : The Simple Flute is easy and expressive, 
the Double Flute adds drones or polyphony, the Triple Flute brings full sound textures, the Modular Double Flute and Modular Triple Flute let you build and reconfigure your instrument — again and again.

The 3D-printed head has been carefully designed for professional sound quality. The body is made of lightweight, durable PVC pipe, divided into multiple sections with connectors for easy transport. The instrument is precisely tuned to A440 Hz.
